FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What style of dance should I audition with?
You should choose a style that highlights your strongest dance skills.  This is your time to shine and you only have two minutes to do so.  Our program focuses on classical dance styles and therefore we are looking for advanced level of technique.  The most successful auditions are in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, and Open.

If I do not audition for grade 9, can I audition the following year for grade 10?
Yes, you can audition in grade 10, but the expectations will be slightly higher as you are now expected to be at the same level as a grade 10 student who has already completed a grade 9 RAP credit in dance.
